The larger the piece, the more risk involved. So as my largest mandala to date, I took my time to enjoy the meditative process and also the learning and growth that naturally develops with each work. Color palette design and board prep through to painting and varnishing was a commitment of more than fifty hours, but it was definitely worth it. I love the calming vibes that the subdued blues and greens accented by soft buttermilk yellows and rose gold metallics convey to the viewer. It feels calming like the appearance of first light just before the sun rises. I hope you love it as much as I do!
